Adobe released an update for its universal
Adobe Photoshop Express app for windows devices. This version has a better support for Adobe ID, giving free in-app purchases on signing up with an Adobe ID. This update comes with a major con. It removes support for Adobe Revel, which has been replaced by the Adobe Creative Cloud.

Following is the list of features the new update brought about:

  1. Crop, rotate, straighten and flip your images, and remove red eye.
  2. One touch adjustments for brightness, exposure and shadows
  3. Slider controls for exposure , contrast, clarity, vibrance and more.
  4. Set of 15 eye-catching filters to choose from.
  5. Looks pack(gives a fun, fresh look to the images) and noise reduction pack(minimizes unwanted grain and specking).

One Drive app

We find that the only visible change in the above mentioned apps is in the UI of one drive for windows 10 mobile. The update jumps from its build 17.5.1 to build 17.6. Microsoft has moved the ‘Sort by’ toggle from within the pop-up menu to on the App Bar itself. It seems that this change is followed by the feedback that people use this function more often than thought. Thereby, moving it to a more readily visible and less buried position.

Audio

Microsoft today released a major update for Audio for Windows 10 Mobile devices. The update introduces the updated Equalizer with the new user interface for all the Lumia devices, excluding the Lumia 950, 950 XL and 550. The updated Equalizer includes a modern user interface, and it certainly looks better than the previous Windows Phone 8.1 user interface. The latest update for audio is also available for Lumia 950, Lumia 950XL and Lumia 550 but there doesn’t seem to be any new feature or changes for these devices. Rest all other windows devices now get the new UI for equalizer.

Slack’s multi-team support

unnamed

Slack Technologies Inc pushed out its new update for Slack, a popular team communication tool that helps team members to communicate easily, for windows devices which brings the much awaited and promised Multi-team support.

The update also fixed the app’s peeky habit of becoming unresponsive after signing out and signing back in. tapping the icon of a file in details, no longer has a bad behavior. Fixed the problem faced earlier when we were unable to receive MPDM notifications. All group messages no matter how much old can be found now.

Photos has moved up from version 15.922.11070 to 15.928.18220, while the Store app makes the jump to 2015.9.25.1 from 2015.9.9.2. Finally, for Mail and Calendar we’re looking at a move from version 17.6224.42272 to 17.6224.42282 on Mobile and 17.6224.42281 on desktop. Windows Camera also received a minor update for mobile.

Check for these updates on the store!

Other than that, there doesn’t appear to be any big new features to look forward to with these updates, but we have noticed the apps feel more responsive and yes, faster. It’s likely that these updates simply add some spit and polish with bug fixes and performance improvements.

No other features or improvements are noted, but there could be some under the hood improvements tied to 10586.36 OS update for Insiders.
