Many apps and games are updated in the Windows Store on a daily basis and it  can be pretty hard to keep track of the same. So, We’ve brought you a quick summary of all apps that have been updated today.

Hike Messenger

Popular Indian social messaging & sharing app, Hike Messenger, has received a rather major update.

Hike has been upping its Windows game recently, signing up people to it’s beta app so that they could test features before they are integrated into the main app- akin to what Microsoft is doing with Facebook and Facebook Beta.

Here is what’s new:

  • Brand New Interface: In addition to literally re-writing hike from scratch (17,378 lines of code), we have changed our design language. The moment you update hike, you’ll notice the brand new user interface. We’ve made it much easier and simpler to navigate your way around hike.
  • Share Documents and Files: Why email when you can send practically anything and everything on hike! Send unlimited amounts of all kinds of non-media files and documents of any format like PDF, ZIP, Word (.DOC), PowerPoint, (.PPT), Excel (.XLS), MP3s, Audio’s and much more.
  • 10 Brand New Chat Themes : We’ve packed in 10 awesome new chat themes that you’ll love
  • Bigger Attachments: Now you can share large files and videos of 100MB at a time.
  • 500 Member Group Chats: Create groups with up to 500 members you can easily stay in touch with those that matter most!
  • Multiple Admins: You can now have multiple admins in your group chat.
  • Better Group Admins Setting: Admins can now restrict the right to add members in the group to themselves.
  • Mute Individual Chats

Cortanium

Cortanium is a fun and useful app that brings new commands to Cortana!

The app description is as follows:

Cortanium adds over 25 new commands to Cortana, to use with voice or text, making your experience even simpler and more intuitive! Easily do things via Cortana like get movie and TV recommendations, get today’s horoscope, check in a document in SharePoint, see how much OneDrive space you have available, or even get your Microsoft Band information, Xbox gamer information, and do a quick Foursquare check in!

The app was recently updated to bring in dark mode and fitbit support!

Here is what’s new in this update:

THIS UPDATE: Added new dark theme option and strobe option for flashlight! Enjoy! RECENT: Added the ability to get Fitbit summaries.

In mid-December, Gameloft released what is easily my favourite mobile game of the year- Sniper Fury.

Gameloft has recently updated Sniper Fury- adding a new mission to Dubai, new enemies and MORE FIREPOWER! (mind the adrenaline.)

Here’s what’s new in this update:

  • Danger in Dubai: Visit this new region for loads of new missions and an occasional sandstore,
  • New Enemies: Zip-Liners and Knife Assassins are swinging into action with deadly force
  • More Firepower: Pack an arsenal of new weapons with unique designs
  • Weapons Parts: Build the best guns from scratch using parts collected from missions and more
  • Xmas Ops: Join the special event to unlock some festive firearms for a limited time!

ASPHALT: Airborne

Talking about favorite mobile games, Asphalt can never really stay out of focus. A benchmark in terms of a powerful mobile game, Asphalt gave a new perspective to mobile gaming.

Asphalt has added 15 cars including Lamborghini Egoista (Sweet.) and a new location in the form of Area 51.

Here’s what’s new in the latest version:

  • New Location: Enter Area 51, this world’s most top-secret racing facility. Look out while flying; you’re not alone in the sky!
  • R&D Series: Two speed machines will be revealed via R&D! Stack up amazing & exclusive rewards, while test-driving those beasts to the max, to make them yours
